The dimensions and dynamic of the world have changed throughout the course of history but some things can’t be changed in any manner. The people, so called citizens of a nation irrespective of the progressiveness of the world, where every minute we fight against or with someone to become superior or sustain your sovereignty, have a little bone inside them which always urges them to prevail above the rest. The elevation from rest of the world, a sustained dominance, a disguised hegemony can sometimes be very soothing. After whispering the above excerpt, you might have just made negative outlook above the world, but accept it or not it’s true. It is the only driving force people have nowadays. As I have mentioned above the dimensions have changed, so have the habits of the people. The habits of the natives vary with their habitats. Plato and Aristotle, two of the greatest philosophers the world has ever seen believed that the climate contributes to the Greeks being highly developed early on, as compared to the other civilizations in hotter or colder climates. But with Charles Darwin’s On the Origin of Species which talks about “Survival Of the Fittest”, above observations got their critic. The above illustration was to depict the importance of environment in your habits, and an importance of habits in sustaining yourself through your lifetime. A morning tea, an early morning tea, having your meal at a specific tea, watching a TV show every day, digesting the same dessert, urge to meet a person and several more are examples of habits which we human unknowing and some knowing posses.
Definition
if we talk more subjectively about habits, habit is a settled or regular tendency or practices something, anything which is hard to give up. Else, we tend to define it scientifically, it’s a behavior pattern acquired by frequent repetition or physiologic exposure that shows itself in regularity or increased facility of performance. It’s a human tendency to get attracted towards the negative, but as far as I know good habits are as addictive as bad habits. People are judged and acknowledged by the values and habits he has and good habits aren’t hard to acquire. The people will eventually get bored with the truth or reality of life and will devote their time in cultivating the habit, which may be good for society or them individually. The chains of habits are too weak to be felt until they are too strong to be broken.
Good Habits
According to me, some notable good habits are:
1. Wake up, when are say you want to wake up.
2. Keep your environment around yourself clean.
3. Have a clean and smooth morning routine.
4. A regular time for a meal.
5. Time for Mindfulness, to keep you composed and sorted.
6. Manage your money.
7. Indulge and Explore.
This idea of good habits is never ending and varies from person to person.
Conclusion
As Gandhi Ji profoundly once said, “Your beliefs become your thoughts, your thought become your words, your words become your actions, your actions become your habits, your habits then become your values, your values become your destiny”. I urge people to take some time out almost every day from the busy schedule they are trapped, just to sit and think. Just to analyze yourself. Just think, read and think. Ask people around you about the mannerism you have inculcated in life. If you come across something peculiar, don’t snap, digest it, understand it. Think of some remedy; think to acquire a habit which might overcome that peculiarity, a good habit. Good habits are worth being fanatical about.
