Grandparents are those who really deserve salute to bring up their generation. The grandparents are the parents of our parents so they are more respectable. It is proved that many kids experience the love of their grandparents more than their parents because many kids spend time with their grandparents due to busy life of their parents. Therefore, kids learn a lot from their grandparents. Young ones, who do not go school, spend more than half time of a day with their grandparents. This time is learning phase for kids and what they learn, they never forget it so kids can learn from grandparents and great-grandparents.
“Great-grandparents” are the parents of one’s grandparents, and the kid who has both grandparents and great-grandparents, is very lucky. Grandparents and great-grandparents are a blessing because they are the people who sacrificed their whole life for the ease of their children. Grandparents and great-grandparents love their grand kids very much and therefore they try to teach them what they have learned from life. Grandparents and great-grandparents intentionally and unintentionally teach many things to kids like:
- How to talk with others
- What life teaches?
- How to spend time with family
- What will be consequence of over possessiveness?
- Who is better for what?
- How to love? How to hate?
According to a survey, if a kid is living with both his parents and grandparents, then he learns from grandparents more than his own parents. Grandparents and great-grandparents have very much influence on their grand kids because kids also have very much attraction towards their Grandparents and great-grandparents. The families where there is a joint family system, kids spend much time with their Grandparents and great-grandparents so they learn many things from them as mentioned above. The things which kids learn from their Grandparents and great-grandparents are both positive and negative depending upon the environment and conditions.
Grandparents and great-grandparents should keep this in mind that what they will do, it will definitely effect their generations. It is the responsibility of Grandparents and great-grandparents that they train their kids in such a way that they will remember them after them. No doubt many Grandparents and great-grandparents fulfill this responsibility very honestly in a very good manner. Pray that everyone feel the love of their Grandparents or great-grandparents.
